About Us – Holmes & Watson is a one-of-a-kind performance, research, and consultancy firm.  We have over 25 years of knowledge and expertise in the provision of efficient and effective mystery shopping programs.

Holmes & Watson specializes in the hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, and resorts).  We support our clients by improving and enhancing the overall customer / guest experience.  

Founded in 2021, Holmes & Watson is owned and operated by Dana Goergen.  Dana grew up in the family restaurant business and built a career in hotel and restaurant management.  In 2003 Dana joined the team at Guest Check, Inc.  During her 19 years on the Guest Check team, Dana thrived as she fulfilled her passion for improving the overall guest experience. 

Working in partnership with restaurants, hotels, and resorts from across the country, Holmes & Watson is thrilled to provide best practice mystery shopping services to thriving businesses across the United States. 

More about us – Dana and her husband (Sean) were both born and raised in the Badger State of Wisconsin.  They met in Boulder Colorado and have lived in the Rocky Mountain west for the past 25 years.  Now residing in Evergreen, Colorado, Dana and Sean enjoy hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, and snowboarding at their favorite Rocky Mountain resorts.
